Paper Towel Tube to Drawer Organizer

Welcome, friends from Craft, Tip Junkie, and all the fun places who've so kindly shared a link to my little idea. I'm glad you stopped by, and I hope you'll come again soon.

Now on with the show:

I don't know about you, but I can't stand all those loose produce and bread bags in my drawer, and throwing them away is not my favorite thing, either. This idea came to me some time ago and I've been using it ever since. You could fill this tube with fabric produce bags, too.
I've been on a roll with what a paper towel tube can do for me lately. I'll be back with more ideas another day...stay tuned!

My grandma saves the toilet paper rolls and she stuffs the cord to her curling irons and blow dryer in them so that her drawer isn't full of tangled cords. I will have to share your idea with her so that she can spruce up her drawers even more. You are so darn creative!!!!

Great idea!

Also - how did you do your cute photos with the print and everything? They look like Polaroid snapshots.

Super cute! Now I'll have to keep my eye out for some really fun contact paper, so I can borrow your idea. :)

Great Idea ! Here is another one. I use the "Crystal Light" type canisters that come with 6 little tubs in them . When empty , I can stuff around 5 or 6 plastic grocery bags in them and keep a canister in the glove box of my car all the time. You never know when you will need a plastic bag , and this way they are handy and not scattered all over .

Great idea!! I will definitely use this in my kitchen drawers. I'm not a fan of loose extra bags either.

I have used the paper towel holder trick for grocery bags for a while, great for your work desk, car, or RV...but covering it with contact paper, brilliant!

Super Cute Gift Wrapping Idea:
My Mom would use the wrapping paper roll at christmas when she would run out of boxes. She would cut the paper roll to the desired length and then roll up a t-shirt or stuff socks or whatever she could in there. Then wrap the roll in wrapping paper leaving the paper long on both ends and then tie the ends close with ribbon and it looked like a piece of wrapped candy. Soo cute & quick too!
